Silversmithing, Lost Wax Casting & 3D CAD Jewellery Classes in Singapore

Learn to make jewellery by hand at our Singapore studio. Private silversmithing classes teach real bench skills and lost wax casting, working in solid silver to make a ring you leave wearing the same day. We also bring the workbench to you for corporate and mobile workshops, cast independent designers' own 3D CAD creations, and take on apprentices who want to go further.

DESIGNER CASTING SERVICE

Already designing your own jewellery? Bring us your 3D CAD file, or work with us to model one, and we'll 3D print it and cast it in solid silver or gold through lost wax casting — a platform for independent designers to bring their creations to life without building a workshop of their own.

Most people who sit down at our bench have never held a torch before. Three hours later they're wearing something they made themselves.

WHAT IS LOST WAX CASTING?

Lost wax casting is one of the oldest jewellery-making techniques still used today. A design is carved or built up in wax, then invested in plaster inside a flask. The flask is heated until the wax melts and burns away, leaving a perfect negative cavity in its shape — this is the "lost wax" step. Molten silver or gold is then cast into that cavity, filling it exactly, before the plaster is broken away to reveal the metal piece underneath.

It's the technique behind almost every cast ring, pendant, and setting produced today, and it's a core part of what we teach in our private studio classes — you'll carve or shape your own piece and see it carried through the casting process into solid silver.

WHY LEARN SILVERSMITHING WITH US

House of NDAG is a working bespoke jewellery studio in Singapore — the same benches and goldsmiths behind our commissioned engagement rings, wedding bands, and keepsake pieces teach every class. You're not learning from a generic instructor script; you're learning the same fundamentals we use to make jewellery for clients every day.

We also work across the modern making pipeline, not just traditional hand-carved wax: 3D CAD software and 3D printers alongside the bench, so a design can move from a screen to a printed model to a cast piece in solid metal. Classes run small and private — up to 2 people per studio session — so you get real one-on-one guidance rather than a lecture in a crowded room. And because we also run a mobile setup, the same hands-on class can come to you for a corporate or group event, anywhere in Singapore.

THE GUILD

BECOME AN APPRENTICE

We're not running a class mill. We're building a community for aspiring jewellers, designers, and crafters who want to go further than a single session — and we're actively looking for apprentices and like-minded creatives to grow with the studio.

You'll work alongside the same goldsmiths behind our bespoke commissions, on real client work — not simulated exercises. And you'll learn the full pipeline this studio actually runs on, not just one technique.
